Gold Horn is a company made up of 17 students from across the country who chose to participate in the Integrated Business Experience (IBE) Practicum at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Essentially, the IBE is a program in which all students take the same four business classes at MSU, and using the material learned in these courses, they work together to operate a business of their creation. The students apply for a real loan through United Prairie Bank in Mankato, MN for the funds to operate, and once this loan has been paid back through product sales, the remainder is donated to a non-profit organization of the company's choosing. Gold Horn has chosen to support MyPlace Mankato as their non-profit.
